Liquid fish oil and asthma

Some studies have also showed that there is a link between fish oil and improving your asthma condition. Today as many as 20 to 25% of children suffer from asthma in a certain time in their life. One of the studies that researched the link between fish oil and treating asthma was conducted on the University of Wyoming.

They found out that when they have put children to a high-fish diet they were were less prone to asthma attacks and were able to breathe more easily as well.

There was a study in Australia that showed that fish oil can be used to fight hypertension and obesity. The study was completed on the University of Western Australia where researchers have discovered that a weight-loss diet which includes a regular amount of fish consumption can be quite effective in reducing blood pressure and improving glucose tolerance. So can be fish oil a replacement for weight loss pills?

Heart is the center of out body and together with our brains the most important part of it. So it is nice to know that we can do something to help our heart and to keep it healthy. One way of keeping our heart healthy is to eat foods that contain (liquid) fish oil.

In Athens, Greece, for instance, a study was made to show if there was a direct relationship between high fish diet and inflammation of blood vessels. The results revealed that those who ate more fish than the others had a lower level of C-reactive protein and interleukin-6, factors that are commonly used to measure likelihood of blood vessel inflammation. These benefits remained even when the various risks associated with high fish diet were taken into account.

We already mentioned a few and we will mention a few more. Taking liquid fish oil or any other fish oil has been proven to benefit your body in many circumstances and many health conditions.

Liquid Fish Oil: Omega-6 vs. Omega-3

Conditions like heart disease, hypertension or high blood pressure, obesity, diabetes, premature aging and certain kinds of cancer can all be (amongst other things of course9 also linked to imbalanced intake (or a lack of one) of omega-3 and omega-6 EFAs.

If we take a more therile look at where can we find omega-6 EFAs:
- vegetable oils like 
- corn oil and 
- soy oil.

They both have high amounts of linoleic acid. 

Where can we find Omega-3 EFAs:
-marine plankton
-walnut and 
-flaxseed oils. 

Fatty fish and liquid fish oils contain eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). These two fatty acids are proven to provide lots of benefits to our bodies and ou health. 

For instance, did you know that Eskimos have a very very fatty diet? But their heart diseases are alomst none existent. Why? A study in 1970’s showed that the reason for this lies in their high-fat diet that really contains lots of fats but these are mostly fats from fish.

The two essential fatty acids, EPA and DHA:

-prevent atherosclerosis,
-prevent heart attacks, 
-prevent depression,
-prevent various forms of cancer. 

Well they do not literally prevent these conditions but the do have a positive influence on the mentioned conditions.

What is the truth about liquid fish oil?

So you think that fats and oils are always bad for you? That is not true. As we said a complete avoidance of fats and oils can be even harmful for you health. Some fatty acids are essential to your body and must always be part of our daily diet. If we would decide to stop eating them that would be a step towards our death. These essential fatty acids are divided into two families: omega-6 EFAs and omega-3 EFAS.

There are only a few differences between these two groups. Actually there are only a few differences when it comes to chemical properties of these fatty acids. But when we look at the effects that each group hs they are very very different. Studies have shown that to much omega-6 EFAs can lead to inflammation, blood clotting and tumor growth. On the other hand omega-3 EFAs can be "guilty" for just the opposite.

Words oils and fats do not sound very healthy today. Most of the time when they people hear them, if they are halth-conscious individuals they run for cover. But people today mostly do not realize that there are more than just on kind of fats and oils. There are good fats and there are bad fats. If you completely avoid taking any kind of fats and oils this can actually harm your health instead of making you more healthy. One of the oils that lots of people use and drink is the liquid fish oil.
